Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan kicked off his Shanghai SIPG on a flying note, scoring in their 2-1 win over Tianjin Teda on Thursday, July 16.
The former Sunderland striker completed his move to the Sven-Göran Eriksson's men on a two-year contract.
Gyan came in as a second half substitute but still had time to score the winner.
He also had a hand in is side's first goal, winning a penalty which Davi converted.
Gyan who has only trained once with his teammate later got the winner in the 80th minute to seal win for the title chasers.
