Nigeria’s young rapper, Blaqbonez, has reached out to veteran singer, Asa regarding his sample of her song, “360“, on his forthcoming album outro, Young Preacher.

Seizing the moment while the Joeboy and Asa lawsuit circulated on Twitter as a trending topic, the rapper uploaded a snippet of a single off his coming album, Young Preacher titled I’d Be Waiting, saying 

“Hi queen Asa (@asakemusik), I sampled your classic on the outro of my album, my team has reached out to yours for clearance. thank you ”
